Falstaff Sparkling Special 2024: awarded Ronco Calino Brut and Satèn

Since its first issue in 1980, the Swiss Falstaff has become the most important wine and culinary magazine for the German-speaking world and its Sparkling Special an essential reference for lovers of wines “with bubbles”. Among the over 900 sparkling wines from all over the world reviewed by Falstaff on the occasion of the Trophy Sparkling 2024, there are also our Franciacorta Brut and Satèn, which received 93 and 90 points respectively.

In the tasting notes drafted by Othmar Kiem, editor-in-chief of Falstaff Italia, and by Simon Staffler, journalist and profound connoisseur of the Italian wine and culinary landscape, the body and persistent finish of the Brut and the elegance and subtle perlage of the Satèn stand out.  

In both, notes of ripe fruit and bread crust enrich the nose and ensure a full sip.
