SEPTEMBER 2025

Ronco Calino Brut is TOP WINE – VINO SLOW and BEST BUY

In the 2026 edition, Slow Wine awards Franciacorta Brut as TOP WINE – VINO SLOW and grants it the BEST BUY mention.

After the debut in the previous publication, 153 wines now carry the badge “Best Buy”, which has replaced the former one “vino quotidiano” (lit. “daily wine”) and rewards labels designed for those seeking “good, clean and fair” wines at convenient prices.

Ronco Calino is in fact the only winery in Lombardy — among the 49 awarded, 20 more than last year — to receive, for the first time, the MONETA. This recognition is assigned to wineries notable for the outstanding quality of the entire range of wines submitted for tasting and excellent value for money.

Furthermore, the TOP WINE – VINO SLOW award places Ronco Calino Brut among the wines that, beyond achieving “excellence” in terms of organoleptic quality, embody traits tied to history, environment, and territory.

This is an extraordinary result for the Brut n.v., iconic wine of the winery and synthesis of the vineyards on the Calino hillside, which has always been the emblem of the vibrant and long-lived style of the Franciacorta signed Ronco Calino.

Its aging of at least thirty months on the lees and at least six months after disgorgement, together with its moderate dosage, enhance the harmony between the fine aromas of Chardonnay — dominant in the blend—and the backbone of Pinot Noir.

You will have the opportunity to meet the awarded producers from all over Italy and taste more than 800 wines at the great tasting scheduled on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Milan.

From 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the spacious halls of Superstudio Maxi, via Moncucco 35, will host over 400 desks with the direct participation of the wineries.

The nearest subway station is Famagosta (Linea Verde M2). If you choose to arrive by car, we recommend parking at the nearby Famagosta Parking Lot.

The ticket price is 49 euros (39 euros for Slow Food and for Fisar members) and includes a copy of the Slow Wine 2026 Guide.

Don’t miss it!
