Wine Enthusiast: Franciacorta Brut 2016 is worth 93 points

Among the wines reviewed by Wine Enthusiast, the most read wine magazine overseas, there is also Franciacorta Brut 2016, which has been awarded 93 points in the blind tasting, securing a place in the “Excellent” category of the Buying Guide. 

In the tasting notes reported by Jeff Porter, professional taster and responsible for the Italian wines for the magazine together with Danielle Callegari, jointly with the citrus and sweet spices hints, a vigorous freshness and a distinctive minerality stand out: 

“Baked apples covered in sweet spices give way to lemon curd, fresh croissants, citrus blossoms and a distinct chalky minerality. The palate is fresh and bright with energetic acidity with notes of mixed citrus, tart cherry and loads of crushed stones on the finish.
