Among the wines awarded by the Slow Wine Guide for the 2027 edition, Franciacorta Satèn also stands out, receiving not only the TOP WINE – VINO SLOW distinction, but also the BEST BUY symbol.
The TOP WINE – VINO SLOW recognition places Ronco Calino Satèn among the wines that, in addition to achieving “excellence” in organoleptic terms, embody characteristics deeply connected to history, environment and terroir.
Furthermore, the BEST BUY symbol identifies it as one of the labels intended for those looking for “good, clean and fair wines” at an advantageous price.
A great achievement for Franciacorta Satèn, in which elegance and silkiness find their fullest expression thanks to a specific parcel of the Ronco Calino vineyards, planted with a clone of Chardonnay “Musqué”. The name reminds of the typical musky aromas and balsamic undernotes, enhanced by a moderate, almost negligible dosage and at least 36 months of ageing on the lees.
In addition to this prestigious recognition for the wine, for the second time in a row the winery has also been awarded the MONETA. The MONETA is presented to wineries that distinguish themselves through the excellent quality of their entire selection of wines presented for tasting, as well as their outstanding value.
You will have the opportunity to meet all the Italian awarded producers and taste more than 900 labels at the grand tasting taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Milan.
From 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm, the wide spaces of Superstudio Maxi, Via Moncucco 35 will host more than 450 tasting desks, with the wineries themselves in attendance.
The nearest metro station is Famagosta (M2 Green Line). If you choose to arrive by car, we recommend leaving it at the nearby Famagosta Car Park.
